Vaishno Devi Yatra — 3 Days
One of India's most visited pilgrimage sites. The cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in the Trikuta mountains of Jammu. 12km+ trek each way.

Day 1
Arrive Katra — Register & Rest
Katra, J&K
Arrive Katra (nearest railhead: Udhampur 65km / Jammu Tawi 50km). Register yatra slip at base camp (FREE). Rest before trek.
Day 2
Trek to Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine
Vaishno Devi Shrine, Katra
Start 2am for cool weather. 13.5km trek to cave (or helicopter to Sanjichhat ₹1700 + 2km walk). Natural pindies in the cave. Then climb to Bhairavnath Temple (1.5km, mandatory for yatra completion).
Day 3
Return Trek & Departure
Katra Base Camp
Descend back 13.5km (return). Option for battery car (₹100). Prasad shopping. Depart in evening.
